  The owners and hosts at Tipi Adventure are absolutely wonderful. They think of all the little things to make you comfortable and relaxed and are always willing to go help with any questions or concerns you might have. The location is wonderful; quite easy to get to with google directions, and far enough into the bush that you get to connect to nature but easy enough for anyone to get to from the North, or South. My friends and I met here just for one evening, but they allowed us to enjoy our time on the day of departure and were extremely helpful when we asked for some advice about local restaurants. The tipis were super clean, and warm and comfortable. We had a total of 6 people and still had lots of extra room for storage. They provided us with a wonderful fire and allowed us to continue it as long as we'd like. The star-gazing was epic and the beautiful serene absolute silence in the middle of the night will not easily be forgotten. We cannot wait to return and sincerely thank Elke and Jochen for their hospitality.

  As my father, a veritable Super Senior, was going to turn 90, we were looking for an exciting way to celebrate him. In his younger days he was a pilot known for his thousands of hours of flying time as well as for his aerobatics. He is also an artist in different disciplines, a great chef, a healer and great fun. The “What to do?” was answered when a relative told us that one of his friends had just returned from winter camping at “Tipi Adventure – Simply Tipi and Fun” – in Muskoka. He had loved the experience and highly recommended it. I immediately contacted them and found out that with its 3 tipis that sleep 10 people each and the B&B that sleeps a few more this would be the ideal place to accommodate our globetrotting family, many of whom were coming from all over the world including Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Guadaloupe, Mexico, USA, Germany, Australia….. as it promised to provide a very Canadian “al fresco” celebration where we can, very comfortably, enjoy the natural beauty of this part of the world. But, to our delight, the big bonus was how helpful Elke and Jochem, the owners of Tipi Adventure, were from our first contact until after we had all left, filled with wonderful memories of the experience. All of my father’s dreams were realized, he was able to fly again and do aerobatics, he was also able to, as he did in his younger days, roast a whole pig and host his guests very comfortably, whether at the picnic tables with a cover to protect the revellers from the elements or around the gorgeous and welcoming fire pit. Dad was able to receive, welcome and entertain in style all his relatives and guests, as he had always done. All friends and relatives who’ve heard of our experience want to go there themselves; therefore, my only suggestion is that if you think you’d like to go, book the place as early as you can. Enjoy!
